Mr. Suranarong Tantayakom, or“Mr. Hansen”, was born and grew up in a family of legal practitioners. As the son of accomplished lawyers, he acquired firsthand knowledge of professionalism in the practice of law from a very young age. His parents, both University of California, Berkeley graduates, were literally his very first instructors in terms of both legal knowledge and professional conduct.
Maj. Charin Tantayakom, his father, a former attorney at one of the oldest law firms in Thailand, was a well-versed civil court judge as well as a legal adviser to Thailand’s renowned real estate companies, such as Supalai Public Company Limited and M.K. Real Estate Development Public Company Limited. His mother, Mrs. Jarunee Tantayakom, was one of the first few female judges in Thailand and also served as a Vice President of the Court of Appeal. She is also known to have contributed to upholding justice for the underprivileged throughout her life.

The law firm, Hansen Law, started in 2001 when Mr. Hansen graduated from law school and decided to open a law office with his father. From there, he gained extensive knowledge and experience in the legal profession, working side by side with competent legal practitioners.
Along with many years of competent legal expertise and intense commitment to caring for the benefits of each and every one of its clients, “virtue and professional conduct” has always been what Mr. Hansen and his team have upheld as a professional standard. This dedication has since turned into excellent service and gained the trust of their clients.
Maj. Charin and Mrs. Jarunee Tantayakom, Master Degree of Law, LL.M., University of California, Berkeley. U.S.A. May 15, 1975.
